17th October and Teenagers....

Well doesn't time fly when you are enjoying yourself?

A year ago today I sat down and wrote my first blog.

78000 words later and I'm still here........

Still in the Forest of Dean too, unlike the predictions of last year.........

The only thing is that I'm running out of stories on banks and stuff.

Well, I must be.

Mustn't I?

At least I can write about the teenagers!

Oh well done!

I bet the bank will never stop being a source of tales...banks are evil, and evil will out! And then you can write about it...;)

Happy Blogiversary. It does get more difficult as time goes on. Also some things are seasonal and I find myself wanting to cover the same topic again which I suppose is OK if you can put a different slant on it. I'm sure you won't have these problems and will still be keeping us entertained a year from now.

Happy Anniversary, my friend. What is the customary gift for the first anniversary? Paper isn't it? How appropriate. Anyway, yes, teenagers; unfortunately they never leave us with nothing to write about. Sometimes I fantasize about an exceedingly dull day!

Happy Anniversary and no ... you should never run out material if you focus on those teenagers (me either)! See ya.

Happy Bloggiversary Sally!

Wow - did you count all those words? That's a book!!!

sallywrites said...

John - Thanks.... And actually, you've put more personal stuff on your blog since the Trigger days. Which is fun to see. So perhaps Trigger's departure was the trigger for you so to speak...Not drivel at all...

Wendz - Indeed. Good will always come to the fore in the end!

Ig - Thanks!

Chris - Thank you. Hope so!

Mary Alice -

So, would it go like this?

Coffee at 10.......Walk dog.... Lunch.....Afternoon telly.....Cup of tea.......Read paper....... Eat Dinner....... Watch some more telly.... Read book... Sleep......

Doesn't make a good blog though does it... your fantasy? No.... keep it all coming for now!

Kellan - Another mother of four! Hello and welcome to the Sally blog!

Pierre - Thank you!!!! And thank you for being such a loyal reader.

Karmyn - i know! Microsoft helped me count them really.... but yes. It is! Is it publishable though?

Something tells me that you will not have to search long for something to blog about with your whirlwind life ;)

Darn it, I didn't manage to read you yesterday so I'm late with this but Happy Blogday Sally! We share the date oddly, although you have many more readers than I do :)

Btw, kids and teenagers always provide good post material, the trouble is it's not always stuff you want to share with others!!!:)

happy blogiversary. Look on the bright side, there's bound to be many new readers - like me - so you can repeat yourself all you like and I will never know (unless I read your archives. Which I have, some of them. But you'll be right, I have a very bad memory!)cvnu

Dear Sally. Happy blogiversary! Be careful what you wish for (or lament the absence of?) - the bank stories will come back when one least expects it :(

sallywrites said...

Thank ED, Norma and LMM.

Sadly LMM, the banking stories are not finished yet...... but a bit like a bad soap opera, I now seem to be on repeat material regarding story lines....

If they ever do really stop, I'll have a party!
